Please feel free to get in touch and ask questions.
******************************************************
Most of my kittens are purchased by previous satisfied owners, so as I do not have many kittens available, when inquiring about kittens, please give some information about yourself, where you live etc as I need to know who is inquiring about my beautiful kittens in order to provide them with a lovely new home.
Please understand I do not reply to emails of those that do not introduce themselves, neither do I invite people over to see my cats. This is a family home and it's a full time job taking care of the animals that live here, it's also not fair on other members of my family or the cats and kittens to have people turning up all the time.
There are many untrustworthy so called cat breeders advertising cheap kittens on the internet without papers etc. These people have deceived the breeders they originally purchased their cats from. They are breeding from cats that were entrusted to them under the understanding they were going to be spayed/neutered and live the life of a pampered pet, not a breeding machine.
I will do what ever is necessary to protect my kittens from this type of person, only genuine caring people are welcome here.
*Indoor Cat or Outdoor Cat*
Are you thinking about allowing your cat to go outside?
The average lifespan of an indoor cat is 15-18 years. For a cat allowed outdoors, the average lifespan is only 2-5 years.
A cat who has never been outdoors probably doesn't have the slightest clue there is an outdoors.
There are many dangers that can harm or kill an outdoor cat, there's also the danger that cats pose to birds and other prey animals, including endangered species.
Free-roaming cats are superb predators who will kill many millions of songbirds and other feathered friends every year. If your cat goes outside, be prepared to deal with dead or worse, dying birds and small mammals (mice, voles, baby rabbits), snakes and other wounded creatures that your cat may leave on your doorstep or bring into your home.
For those who really want to give their cats the outdoor experience, it can be done without the risk. Consider cat-fencing or building an outdoor cat enclosure. It doesn't have to be big, but it will keep your cat in, and out of danger, you can find some great design ideas on the internet.
When your outdoor cat just doesn't come home one day, you may never know why, and you will only be able to hope his death was quick and painless.
My 1st 4 cats all died between the ages of 1-4 years.
One was killed crossing the road. Another was hunted down and killed by a gang of youths with terrier type dogs, and the last two were killed by a man who's past time was shooting cats with an air rifle from his bedroom window, he also enjoyed trapping and battering to death any cat that made the mistake of entering his garden.
It's not very nice to hear, but this and worse goes on outside, things that just don't bare thinking about.
